Farewell my lovely is one of Chandler's most famous crime novels featuring the detective Philip Marlowe. The suspect in the case is Moose Malloy, a small time criminal who is looking for a girl he used to know. Marlowe enters the case out of curiosity, but soon becomes embroiled in a trail of corpses.
